Feminists and Gender definitions:

Feminists:

* a supporter of feminism of or relating to or advocating equal rights for women; "feminist critique" * A person who supports the equality of women with men; A member of a feminist political movement; One who believes in the social, political, and economical equality of the sexes; Relating to or in accordance with feminism

Gender:
* refers to the different roles and responsibilities attributed to men and women in society. It does not only mean the biological definition of sex as male and female, but also how these biological definitions are constructed in a social context, subject to historical and cultural change. ... * A social difference that may vary according to the times and the society or group one belongs to, and which are learned or attributed by women and men. Gender is a broader concept than the mere biological differences between men and women.

Feminism concerns equality and justice for all women, and it seeks to eliminate systems of inequality and injustice in all aspects of women’s lives.

Patriarchy can be defined as a system in which men dominate because power and authority is in the hands of adult men

Other Definitions:
Stereotypes: a simplified standardized conception or image of a person or group held in common by members of a group. Archetypes: The original pattern or model from which all things of the same kind are copied or on which they are based. Beauty: culturally defined as being attractive to men.

Ideology: the ideas of any individual, group, or class about their social institutions. Machismo: originated in Latin America, represents a definition of men as dominant both by nature and by social practice. Marianismo: exists for women so that their self-image supports that of men
