Over the past few years the WHO (World Health Organization) concerned about the public health, conducted the largest global systematic study to discover the causes of major health risk factors, the statistics about air pollution stood out the most due to the deaths caused by air pollution. Michael Graham Richard reports that 3.5 million deaths are caused by indoor air pollution and 3.3 million deaths are caused due to outdoor pollution. This essay will be discussing the use of electrostatic precipitator in reduction of air pollution. In total number of deaths are 6.8 million, this results are twice as many deaths as previously thought. According to BBC News in recent years, carbon dioxide emission have become a serious environmental concern on a global scale. Because of their effect on the greenhouse effect which eventually affects climate change, scientists and individuals around the globe have become increasingly concerned with their environmental impact in relation to carbon dioxide. Besides water, air is the most vital resource on our planet. Clean air is crucial for the survival of all living things such as plants, animals and human beings. Air pollution has become a very common problem globally and it is resulted from various dangerous chemical substances which spread in the air such as CO2. The dangerous chemical substances are the product of human daily activities such as factory activities which produce tires and other object using fuels and machines that trigger the air pollution. As a result of the air being polluted with chemical gases which are harmful to the environment it can also lead to having acid rain. The harmful chemicals that are realised from factories such as carbon dioxide mix with rainwater which forms carbonic acid H2CO3 which result to acid rain. The formula for acid rain is CO2 + H2O H2CO3. The rainwater later finds its way to water bodies and threatens our existence. Moreover according to Tom Fuller the physics behind the theory...
